about

This recording is from the first time The Newport Dolls played together, which was also the first time they performed live. It was meant to be a one off, but it became a band instead. This collaboration was the brainchild of Thomas Blatchford. It happened at the launch of the "You deserve to DIY" exhibition at The Substation, Newport, Victoria, Australia on Thursday 28th February 2013. The weather was warm and the room was massive.

This is an unmastered digital-only release.
